Customer Panel

The Customer Panel gives our customers a role in helping us to improve our standards and performance. Customers can influence the way Housing for Women delivers housing and related services, ensuring your views and priorities are at the heart of our work.

What does the Customer Panel do?

  • Monitors Housing for Women performance
  • Carries out in-depth reviews of services
  • Suggests improvements
  • Challenges the organisation to improve services

What skills do you need to join the Panel?

  • Good reading, writing and numeracy skills as well as good verbal communication
  • Ability to be objective and analyse, interpret and question information
  • Able to weigh up issues, make balanced judgements and decisions based on evidence

A typical review takes three to six months to carry out, and we do ask for a commitment of a few hours a month to attend meetings. Your travel and out of pocket expenses will be paid.

Armchair Commentator

You can get involved from the comfort of your own home using a smart phone, tablet, computer or via post, by becoming an Armchair Commentator. We will be gathering feedback from Armchair Commentators on their experiences of using Housing for Women services and their opinion on the quality of our services.

All Housing for Women residents can access the free Tpas resources hub.

Tpas are the tenant engagement experts, providing ongoing support and guidance to help you to be involved with your landlord,  lead on activity in your community and improve services.
