Alison Muir named new CEO of Housing for Women
Board of Housing for Women is pleased to announce the appointment of Alison Muir as its new Chief Executive Officer. Alison will take up the role in August.
Alison brings extensive senior leadership experience across the housing sector, including within G15 housing associations, local authorities, and the private, charitable and voluntary sectors. Her breadth of experience, combined with her strong commitment to social purpose, will bring significant value to Housing for Women as we continue to develop our services, strengthen our impact, and move forward in our journey from good to great - providing homes and specialist support for women across London.
Alison succeeds Zaiba Qureshi, who will step down in September 2026 as she moves into semi-retirement, following 15 years of committed leadership and service to Housing for Women.
The Board looks forward to working with Alison as Housing for Women continues to build on its impact as both a housing provider and charity, delivering services for women and their families across London.
