Your Rent and Service Charges

Published 15 July 2026

Each year we review our rents and service charges to help ensure they remain fair while allowing us to maintain homes, deliver services and invest in the future.

You will receive a letter from us explaining your rent and service charge arrangements for 2026/27. Unless you are a fair rent tenant any changes will take effect from October, giving you time to plan ahead and review your household budget.

We are reviewing service charges in response to customer feedback, to make them clearer, fairer and easier to understand. Service charges cover shared services such as cleaning, grounds maintenance, building safety checks, shared staffing and waste management, and we are working to keep costs affordable while improving transparency and service quality.

Residents will receive a service list and cost breakdown. Please contact us with any questions or concerns. If you are not in employment, your service charge may be covered by Universal Credit or Housing Benefit.

If you're worried about paying your rent and service charge or think you may struggle with any future changes, please contact us. We can discuss the support and advice available and help you explore your options.

Keep an eye on our website, social media channels and your resident newsletter, Connect, for the latest updates. If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch. Our team is here to help and will be happy to support you.
